Founder Details
Lockard was founded and owned by Nick Lockard. Nick has over 20 years of experience in IT and cybersecurity. He holds numerous industry certifications, including but not limited to the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP). His experience has stretched from the government sectors in the Department of Energy (DOE) and Department of Defense (DOD). Along with multiple Fortune 500 companies including Intel, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and LinkedIn. Nick has a background in traditional security engineering and architecture spanning both the offensive and defensive sides of the house.
History
Nick Lockard started his first company in his basement back in 2008 as a break-fix security services company removing viruses from computers. This was during the height of rogue anti-virus and the start of ransomware. Since 2008, Lockard has evolved over time to become and a powerhouse of industry experts in cybersecurity.
Seeing all of the advanced capabilities that the government and these multi-billion dollar companies leveraged, intrigued Nick to create a “Navy Seal” style approach to securing companies that may not be able to easily afford to hire 100+ security engineers.
